We believe in the Virgin Birth
“Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.” Matthew 1:23
We believe that Jesus died for our sins
“And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.” Luke 23:46
We believe in the Resurrection of Jesus
“He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.” Luke 24:6-7
We believe all have sinned and are candidates for salvation
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13
We believe in the infilling of the Holy Ghost
“John answered, and said unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:” Luke 3:16
“And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat
upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.” Acts 2:1-4
We believe in the Power of the Holy Spirit in the life of the Believer
“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall
speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:17-18
We believe in being totally committed to the Lord
“And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul,
and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself.” Luke 10:27
We believe in giving
“But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:6-7
We believe in divine healing and deliverance
“Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.” James 5:14-15
We believe in the trinity of the Godhead
“And Jesus (Son), when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit (Holy Ghost) of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven (Father), saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:16-17
We believe in the catching away, “Rapture”, of the church
“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” I Thessalonians 4:16-18
We believe that all have sinned and come short of
the Glory of God.
By realizing this and asking God to forgive us of our sins, as the Holy Spirit draws us we repent of our sins with a verbal confession, we are born again.
